ODI Vans v2.1 Lock-On Grips (Iridescent Purple with Oil Slick Clamp)

The ODI Vans v2.1 Lock-On Grips are the flashiest, high-profile colorway variant in the single-clamp ODI x Vans collection. This premium setup features:

• A rich iridescent purple rubber grip body
• A multi-tonal, shimmering oil slick (neo-chrome) anodized aluminum lock ring

Key Technical Features

• Iridescent Purple Compound: Molded using ODI's proprietary Soft Compound TPE formulation, offering an optimal balance between tacky friction and structural trail longevity.
• Special Edition Oil Slick Ring: Equipped with a single inner v2.1 lockring treated with a premium oil-slick rainbow finish, completely replacing traditional raw or anodized black hardware.
• Asymmetric Palm Cushioning: Features the updated Vans sole pattern. The top side houses thicker, broader waffle blocks to maximize vibration dampening under the palm, while the underside uses a denser diamond grid for secure finger traction.
• Low-Profile Mini Flange: Designed with a shortened inner guard that provides a reassuring hand-stop boundary without conflicting with standard MTB brake levers, dropper triggers, or thumb shifters.
• Comfort Molded Ends: Built with closed, cushioned outer tips that eliminate the need for loose end plugs while adding heavy abrasion defense if the bike falls sideways.

Sizing & Geometry Specifications

• Grip Length: 135 mm overall width.
• Grip Diameter: A highly responsive, slim 31 mm outer profile.
• Handlebar Standard: Fits all industry-standard 22.2 mm (7/8") mountain bike, commuter, or BMX handlebars.
